This is a signed Katana by Kunimasa, active in Nakamura, Uda District, Ōshū during the Genroku era (1688–1704) of the Edo period. It features a long nagasa of 73.0 cm, a suguha hamon with a soft notare tendency, and is accompanied by an NBTHK Tokubetsu Hozon certificate. The sword comes with a complete black-lacquer koshirae with distinctive fuchi and kashira, and a plain wooden shirasaya for storage.
