This is a long and powerful katana attributed to Kanabô Masatsugu, a textbook example of the school's battle-tested blades. It features a strong shape, shallow curvature, wide mihaba, thick kasane, and a massive ô-kissaki. The blade exhibits masame-hada with mokume-hada, ji-nie, and chikei, and a bright hamon with ko-midare, ko-chôji, and togari-ba.
