This is a katana by Yoshihara Kunie, a swordsmith born in 1945 and passed away in 2023. The blade received Tokubetsu Hozon certification from the NBTHK. It is a copy of the Kuriyama Yokuro Sukesada, a masterpiece by Yosaemon no Jo Sukesada, and the fittings of the koshirae are by Katayama Shigeharu.
