This is a tanto made by Kuniie in October of Showa 59 (1984), with a carving by Senju. It is a copy of a work by Umetada Myoju, featuring a kata-kiriha zukuri (single-edged) blade and elaborate carving. The blade has a well-forged jigane and a hamon with rich variations, along with detailed engraving.
