This is a tachi made by Yoshihara Kuniie during the Gendaito period, specifically in 1942. It was commissioned to commemorate the fall of Singapore and Hong Kong and was ordered by Mr. Aizawa, chairman of Gotokai Sword Club. The blade features a ko-nie deki gunome choji hamon and is in nice old polish.
