Description

This is a wakizashi signed by the 2nd generation Yoshimichi from Settsu province, dating to the Kanbun era (1661-1672) of the early Edo period. The blade features a wide body, deep curvature, and thick kasane, typical of the Kanbun Shinto style. The hamon is a vibrant mixture of gunome and choji, with abundant kinsuji and sunagashi.
