This wakizashi is signed by Bitchu no Kami Tachibana Yasuhiro, a prominent smith of the Osaka Ishido school during the early Edo period (Kanbun era). Yasuhiro, originally from the Kishu Ishido school, established his forge in Osaka and gained fame for his beautiful Bizen-den gunome choji hamon and jimon resembling old works, distinguishing himself among the great smiths of Osaka.
