It has arrived, it has arrived! A famous masterpiece *tanto* has appeared, copying the *Horikawa Kunihiro* (popularized in *Touken Ranbu*) featuring the carving of *Daikokuten*. The swordsmith *Tsune-toshi* (real name Miyaguchi Hisao) was born in Showa 2 and was a brilliant talent who graduated from the Tokyo University of the Arts. He is the direct lineage of the *Miyaguchi Ikkansai* family, the grandson of swordsmith *Shigeto*, and the son of swordsmith *Toshihiro*. He was a master craftsman who won numerous special prizes in competitions. Regarding *toshin-bori* (blade carving), he studied under Living National Treasure *Miyairi Akihira* and *Tsukamoto Okimasa*, and also learned from his uncle, the ultra-famous smith *Kasama Shigetsugu*, who famously forged swords at the residence of the pre-war right-wing titan, *Toyama Mitsuru*. This *tanto* features a *shin-no-mune*, a wide *moto-mihaba* and *saki-mihaba*, presenting a *hira-zukuri tanto* form. The *jigane* is forged in *itame-hada* with *chikei* appearing in the *ji*. The carvings are truly magnificent, with *Daikokuten* (*Daikoku-sama*) on the *omote* and *shoun* (rising luck) on the *ura*. The *hamon* is a *nioi-deki* with abundant *ko-nie*, forming a *notare* blade mixed with *gunome* within the *ha*, incorporating *kinsuji* and *sunagashi* to create a spirited edge. This *tanto* was specially commissioned by the owner's father, but as they have grown older, we have been entrusted to pass it on at a low price to someone who will cherish this masterpiece *Horikawa Kunihiro* copy by the brilliant *Miyaguchi Ikkansai Tsune-toshi*—the only swordsmith of his caliber to graduate from Tokyo University of the Arts. We are offering it at a special, ultra-bargain price; please enjoy it.
