Description

This antique Japanese Wakizashi was forged by the 2nd generation Iga no Kami Fujiwara Kinmichi, a prestigious swordsmith of the Mishina school active during the early Edo period (Kanbun era). The blade is certified as Hozon by the NBTHK and features a chrysanthemum emblem on the tang, a symbol granted by the emperor for exceptional craftsmanship. It comes with a shirasaya case and a traditional sword carrying case.
