Description

This is a han-dachi koshirae (mounting) in the Higo style, featuring a red lacquer handle and a brown-toned ishime-ji nuri saya (scabbard). It is equipped with a cord loop, allowing it to be worn as either a katana or a tachi. The metal fittings are all made of Higo iron with nunome-zogan (cloth-pattern inlay), showcasing a unique aesthetic.
