This tsuba features a copper ground intricately stamped with a small flower pattern, with inome (boar's eye) openwork on all four sides. Remnants of point inlay add variation, and the rim is finished with sukizokoshi (carved-out) mimi. The tsuba, attributed to Shonai, harmonizes the calm color of the copper with the delicate floral design, and passed Hozon Tosogu certification in 2024.
