This is an outstanding modern katana by the 28th-generation Fujiwara Kanenari, a designated Important Intangible Cultural Property Holder of Gifu Prefecture. The blade features a powerful sugata with an o-kissaki, a well-forged itame-hada, and a nie-deki notare hamon. Both the blade and its shirasaya are in excellent condition, making it an ideal piece for appreciation and collection.
