This is a mumei wakizashi attributed to the Sue-Mihara school, active around the Daiei era (1521) of the late Muromachi period. It features a well-forged ko-itame hada with visible utsuri and a suguha hamon. The blade comes with both a shirasaya and a koshirae, and is accompanied by an NBTHK Tokubetsu Kicho Token certificate.

This work carries older NBTHK “Kichō”-era papers, which the NBTHK no longer issues and now regards as unreliable. To confirm the attribution, submission to an official Japanese examination body (such as the NBTHK or NTHK) for modern certification could be considered.
