This is a Gendaito katana made by Kanemichi, whose real name is Ikuo Kojima, residing in Seki, Gifu Prefecture. The blade features a nagasa of 74.4cm and comes with a black lacquered uchigatana koshirae. Kanemichi is a representative Mino school smith of the modern era, having received numerous awards at the New Master Swordsmith Exhibition since 1981.
