The second generation was of the Takahashi clan and produced many sukashi tsuba, and the school continued for seven generations thereafter, primarily making tsuba. The tsuba produced by the greatly prospering Kinai school are prized as "Kinai-bori" or "Echizen-bori," and they were particularly skilled at depicting dragons, with several masterpieces found among their dragon-themed tsuba. In other works, they took up various subjects such as autumn grasses, chrysanthemums, and other vegetation, but works featuring people or landscapes are few, and they also had exchanges through forming matrimonial relations with the Myochin and Akao families. This tsuba differs from the commonly seen round-shaped aoi-sukashi, featuring a large and bold sukashi in a kawari-gata. Meticulous work has been performed, skillfully carving an aoi design characteristic of Kinai-bori.
