This is a Wakizashi by the Enju school, active during the Late Kamakura period, approximately 700 years ago. It is attributed as a grandson of Rai Kuniyuki. The blade features a clear and good jigane with vivid utsuri, chu-suguha hamon with small ashi and yo, and kinsuji. It is a healthy and excellent masterpiece, accompanied by an NBTHK Hozon Token certificate.
