Description

This is a tanto by Yosozaejyo Sukesada of the Osafune school in Bizen province, dated to Tensho 8 (1580). It is a moroha style blade with itame and mokume hada, and a gunome choji midare hamon with sunagashi. The blade is in healthy condition and comes with shirasaya and koshirae, and has NBTHK Tokubetsu Hozon certification.
