This is a wakizashi signed by Omi no Kami Minamoto no Hisamichi, a swordsmith active in Yamashiro province during the Genroku era (mid Edo period). The blade features a wide body, thick kasane, and high sori with a medium kissaki. The hamon is a wide gunome-midare with abundant nie and kinsuji.
