This charming set of menuki depicts Hotei, the god of good fortune, known as the "Laughing Buddha" in the West. Dating to the early Edo period, these menuki are crafted from shakudo with intricate gold and silver details. The set is in excellent quality and condition, accompanied by an NBTHK Tokubetsu Hozon paper and a custom-fitted kiri-bako.
