This is a katana made by Kunitada of Chikugo province in July of Heisei 11 (1999). The smith's real name is Komiya Harukimitsu, residing in Omuta City, Fukuoka Prefecture. The Komiya family is a family of swordsmiths, and his father was Komiya Shiro Kunimitsu, said to be a great work of the Showa era.
