This is a modern katana made by Kunitada, whose real name is Komiya Yokimitsu, born in 1954. He is part of a renowned family of swordsmiths from Omuta City, Fukuoka Prefecture. The blade is suitable for iai and tameshigiri, and comes with a black lacquered uchigatana koshirae.
