Description

This is a pair of menuki featuring a celebration design with kelp in a bowl and a green old turtle, each adorned with noshi. The bowl containing the kelp has a chrysanthemum crest in gold lacquer, and the strings binding the noshi are meticulously carved. The turtle's shell and seaweed are also very finely sculpted.
