Description

This is a Juyo Token designated wakizashi by 2nd Generation Osafune Yasumitsu, a representative smith of Oei Bizen alongside Morimitsu. It is a nagamaki-naoshi style blade, healthy and well-made. The jigane shows the Oei-moku grain, and a bo-utsuri appears from the habaki-moto. The hamon is a clean suguha with a tight yet plump and bright nioiguchi. This blade was also certified as an excellent sword by the NBTK.
