This is an artistic ubu wakizashi signed nagamei, attributed to Yamashiro Kuni(kiyo), likely a later generation smith. It features a hoso suguba ko-midare hamon with a brilliant habuchi and three layers of shiraki bo-utsure. The jigane is a mixture of itame nagare and masame with fine jinie and chikei, mounted in shirasaya with horn trim and a copper habaki.
