Description

This magnificent tachi is the work of Ryôzanshi Masamine, a former Living National Treasure, dated August 1974. It is a faithful replica of the national treasure tachi Nikkô Sukezane, capturing the hallmarks of the Kamakura Bizen tradition. The blade features an expertly forged ko-itame jihada with chikei and midare-utsuri, and a glorious chôji-midare hamon rich in kawazu-no-ko chôji.
