Takada Yukimitsu行光
This katana was forged by Fujiwara Yukimitsu of the Takada school in Bungo province during the Shinto period (Enpô era). It features a wide shinogi-ji, nagare-hada, and a vigorous togari-gunome hamon with Mino characteristics, resolving into a striking kaen boshi. The blade comes with a late Edo period uchigatana-koshirae, including a Nishigaki school tsuba and Bizen Shôami fuchi-kashira, and is certified Tokubetsu Hozon by NBTHK.
