Description

This is an unsigned kozuka featuring a round dragon design. It is made of shakudo nanako with high relief carving and gold iroe. The piece comes with a paulownia wood box and dates to the Edo period. It is slightly small and thin, but well-made, and shows careful use of materials from a time before resources were abundant.
