This is a wakizashi by Fujiwara Sadayuki, a master smith of Bungo Takada, active in the early Edo period. He received the title Yamato Daijo in 1639 and later Yamato no Kami. The blade features a straight hamon, characteristic of Takada works, and a well-forged jigane. It is also known as a sword owned by the swordsman Miyamoto Musashi, later gifted to his attendant Okabe Kyuzaemon. While beautiful, it shows some minor scuffs and light rust due to its age and old polish.
