This is a katana by Kanetoshi, measuring 68.2cm, newly polished and featuring a newly made koshirae. The blade is in excellent condition with a shallow sori, suitable for practical use, and has a well-preserved tang. It is ideal for appreciation, iaido, and tameshigiri, made in Showa 15 (1940) by a highly regarded Gendaito smith.
