This is a wakizashi attributed to Yoshioka Ichimonji, from the late Kamakura period. It features a deep sori and a slightly extended kissaki, with a well-forged ko-itame hada mixed with mokume and clear utsuri. The hamon is a vibrant choji-midare with ko-ashi, characteristic of the school, and it comes with an NBTHK Tokubetsu Hozon certification.
