This is a robust wakizashi by Harima no kami Teruhiro, active in the early Edo period, reflecting the tense atmosphere of the time. The blade features a wide moto-haba and saki-haba, thick kasane, and deep sori, with a bo-hi engraving. The jihada is a tightly forged ko-itame mixed with itame, showing clear nie and faint utsuri, while the hamon is gunome-midare with choji, deep nioiguchi, kinsuji, and sunagashi, demonstrating excellent craftsmanship and preservation.
