Description

This is an Edo period tsuba from Hizen. It features a mokko-gata shape, iron plate with hammered surface, sukidashi takabori carving (raised carving from the plate), inlay work, and uchikaeshi-mimi rim (turned-back rim). It comes with a Kiri box, Aoi Art appraisal paper, and NBTHK Hozon Tosogu certificate.
