Description

An aoi-mokko-shaped tsuba of a copper-gold alloy from the Edo period, featuring a yakite-kusarashi finish. It is decorated with silhouette-style sukashi openwork and fitted with a matching metal fukurin rim. The tsuba comes with a Kiri box and an Aoi Art appraisal paper, as well as an NBTHK Hozon Tosogu certificate.
