Description

This is a set of matching tosogu (mitokoromono) featuring a kozuka, kogai, and menuki. The kozuka and kogai are signed by Goto Mitsutomo with a kao, while the menuki are unsigned but attributed to Mitsutomo. The set is made of shakudo nanako with a design of chrysanthemum branches carved and colored. It dates to the mid-Edo period and is certified as Tokubetsu Hozon Tosogu by the NBTHK.
