Description

A Tokubetsu Hozon designated tachi by Yoshimochi of the Ichimonji school, active in Bizen province during the Kamakura period. This blade retains its original nakago with a complete signature and only one mekugi-ana, a rare and valuable example of Kamakura craftsmanship. The blade exhibits minimal thinning from polishing, showcasing a well-forged ko-itame hada, abundant ji-nie, and a vibrant utsuri.
