This is a wakizashi made by Omi Daijo Fujiwara Tadahiro in Hizen province during the early Edo period (Keian era). Tadahiro was the son of 1st Gen. Tadayoshi and received the title of Omi Daijo in Kanei 18. He trained his son to succeed the Tadayoshi name, and continued to make swords until the Genroku era.
