Description

This is a tsuba featuring a Keshodogu (cosmetic utensils) design, attributed to the Kyo-Shoami school. It was made in Kyoto, Yamashiro province during the mid Edo period. The tsuba is made of iron with sukashi (openwork) carving and inlay.
