This is a pair of menuki depicting Juro and a deer, crafted by Kinkodo Hirosada during the late Edo period in Mito, Hitachi province. The set features shibuichi and suaka with iroe zogan (inlay) and katakiribori (engraving). The omote menuki measures 1.59cm in width and 3.88cm in height, while the ura menuki is 1.22cm wide and 3.79cm high. It comes with a special kiri box and is certified Tokubetsu Hozon by the NBTHK.
