This is a compact three-sword rack combined with a small chest, featuring a wood grain pattern in red lacquer. The sides depict old pine trees, and the top surface shows flying cranes in hirame-maki and takamaki-e, illustrating the Horaisan (Mount Penglai) design. The sliding doors have bright wood grain patterns in lacquer, with gold powder sprinkled over them and cranes depicted in gold inlay and hirame-maki. The crossbars feature a plum blossom design, and the shibuichi pull handles are engraved with pine cones and bamboo, making this a custom-made item imbued with wishes for good fortune and longevity. The use of precious malachite on the mirror plate is a particularly rare and unique design.
