This is a daisho set by Minryushi Toshizane from Inaba province, active during the Edo period. Both the katana and wakizashi are signed and dated to the Bunka era (1811-1817). They feature a refined jigane with intricate ko-mokume hada and a distinctive hamon with small gunome-choji, characteristic of the smith's work. Both blades are certified Tokubetsu Hozon.
