This katana is attributed to Ikkansai Yoshihiro, a smith active in Musashi province during the Shin-Shinto period. The blade is an utsushi of a Koto era sword by Norishige and features a gunome midare hamon with sunagashi, kinsuji and nie. It is accompanied by an outstanding koshirae with cobalt blue tsuka-ito and a red gloss saya.
