Description

This katana was made by 4th generation Aizu Michitatsu in 1825. Michitatsu studied the Soshu tradition from Kakumoto Okihira, who learned from Okumoto Hira in Satsuma. The blade features a gunome pattern with pointed tips and abundant sunagashi. It comes with a koshirae that appears to have been made to match the sword.
