This is a wakizashi signed Tadatsuna Saku from the Edo period, circa XVI century. It features a forge and hamon with a lot of personality, and comes with a beautiful fuchi with reliefs and nature motifs in shakudo, a simple shakudo tsuba, and menukis with kabuto shape and gold inlay on shakudo. The saya is classic lacquer in very good condition.
