Description

This is a tsuba attributed to the Umetada school, dating to the mid Edo period. It features a shakudo ishime ground with flat inlays of gold, silver, and copper. The tsuba is decorated with sayagata patterns, chrysanthemum crests, paulownia crests, ginkgo leaf patterns, and shippo patterns.
