This is a complete tsuka (handle) for a Japanese sword, featuring a shakudo nanako (fish-roe) ground. It is adorned with a detailed flower and grass motif. The fuchi-kashira are made of shakudo nanako with colored enamel and a jigami (paper fan) design, signed by Yanagawa Naomitsu. The menuki are shakudo with gold and silver enamel depicting flowers and grasses.
