This is a katana by Akamatsu Taro Kaneyuki, measuring 72.1cm, made in August Heisei 30 (2018). It features a beautiful Choji Midare hamon in the Fukuoka Ichimonji style, with active sunagashi and kinsuji. The blade is in excellent condition, having never been used for tameshigiri, and comes with a robust koshirae featuring matching Bonji fittings.

Without one, the attribution is the seller’s own assessment and has not been independently verified — treat it with caution and ask the dealer about certification before buying.
