This is a yari made by Sadakuni in Suruga province during the early Edo period (Kanei era). The yari has a well-proportioned shape with a refined and detailed forging pattern. The blade features a straight temper line with small irregular patterns and a prominent nioi effect. The tang shows signs of later rust removal but is otherwise in good condition.
