This is a Hirazukuri Wakizashi signed by Masatoshi, known as Sakakura-Seki, from Mino Province during the late Muromachi period (around Tenbun era). He established his forge in Sakakura, Mino. There is also a theory of technical exchange with the Muramasa school due to geographical proximity and the similarity of the 'Masa' character in their signatures.
