This is a single sword rack (katana kake) made from beautiful Mikurajima mulberry wood, featuring an openwork gentian (rindo) crest. Designed primarily for tachi but also suitable for uchigatana, its stable form has a low mirror plate and slightly larger receivers. The intricate openwork demonstrates high woodworking skill, and the rack is in good condition, matching any koshirae.
