Description

This katana is estimated to be from the Edo period and features a gunome-choji hamon, characteristic of Bizen craftsmanship. The blade is crafted in the traditional shinogi-zukuri style with a torii-zori curvature. The nakago is kengyo nakagojiri and mumei (unsigned), and the sword includes a koshirae with floral menuki and wavy kashira and fuchi.
